About Us

The SUNOVATE project consortium represents the various competencies, expertises and infrastructure that are necessary to realize the project objectives. SUNOVATE is composed of the Dutch and Flemish applied research organizations TNO (located both on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven and on the Brightlands Chemelot Campus in Geleen) and IMEC (located both in Hasselt and in Leuven), two universities, Hasselt University (UHasselt ) and KU Leuven, and four companies Everlam, Yparex, Glass for Glass and Soltech. The project is supported by the Interreg Flanders-Netherlands program, the Dutch government and the provinces of North Brabant (NL) and Limburg (NL and VL).

The Partners

User and Advisory Committee

The user and advisory committee is to involve (external) companies in SUNOVATE. The following companies are involved in the project: Solinso, ZigZagSolar, NBArchitects, Powering Foils, NSG-Pilkington, BIPV NL, Ceyssens Glass and Kameleon Solar.

The user and advisory committee is informed on an annual basis about the current state of affairs in the project in order to be able to give advice to project partners. This ensures that the project demonstrators seamlessly meet the requirements of future industrial users. This will simplify and accelerate the transition from lab scale to pilot and industrial scale.
